Spyder Carneol, LMT
Shiatsu Bodywork Practitioner
The power of therapeutic touch.
Spyder has been practicing bodywork since 2005. She offers her practices of Shiatsu and Visceral Manipulation to the patients of Elevate Health. Her practice philosophy is that the power of therapeutic, nurturing touch brings relief to chronic stress, pain and stiffness, and can connect you to deeper parts of yourself, your body, mind and spirit – leaving you with a sense of lightness, wholeness and happiness.
Shiatsu and Visceral Manipulation
Spyder studied Tao Shiatsu with Master Ryokyo Endo of Kyoto, Japan for ten years, and another Shiatsu form at the Oregon School of Massage for two years.
Master Endo is a healer and Buddhist priest who teaches from a deeply heart-centered place, and passes to his students the understanding that people can heal when they are touched from this deep heart.
His focus on how to touch even more than where to touch inspires her work every day. Complementing the Eastern aspects of her practice, Spyder brings the subtle and anatomy-intensive form of Visceral Manipulation to clients whom it will benefit.
Coaching, Conscious Freedom, and Tao Therapy
Spyder also teaches a mindfulness-based transformational process called Conscious Freedom, suited for people who feel stuck in old life patterns and are ready to make changes towards a more fulfilling and satisfying life. She has been coaching people in this process since 2005. Please visit consciousfreedomcoaching.com.
Bodywork can also be combined with a mindfulness practice in the same session to encourage a deep transformational experience. She calls this practice Tao Therapy. Please contact her for more information.
Spyder, a native of Wisconsin, moved to Oregon in 2007. She is passionate about rock climbing, biking, snowboarding, backpacking, and quiet hikes. She loves being a mother, dancing, growing food and flowers, and cooking for friends with her husband, Ken. She is looking forward to meeting you, and supporting you in Elevating your Health!
